TOKYO
To all my wonderful clients,

Thank you for all the support you have given me throughout this past year. I wish to express my appreciation. I will close my operation on the following days over Christmas and New Year.

Thu 25 Dec Christmas Day
Fri 26 Dec Boxing Day
Wed 31 Dec
Thu 1 Jan 2026 New Year's Day
Fri 2 Jan

And then, I will be away from 11 January to 26 February 2026.
Appointments are filling fast for the rest of the year as well as for the new year. I recommend booking one early, especially for those clients who are after a large service such as a chemical straightening, a balayage colour and so on.

I look forward to working for your last hair done for 2025, or the first one for 2026!

Japanese Hairdresser in Dunedin

I have been a hairdresser for over 27 years now. I started my hairdressing career in 1985 in Shibuya, one of the biggest and busiest towns in Tokyo, Japan, learned all the aspects of hairdressing, and gained experience until I left the country in 2010. And then a new chapter of my life began in Australia. I worked in Brisbane and Sydney from 2010 -2012 and then moved over to New Zealand, worked in Auckland from 2012-2014 and in Dunedin from 2014 to the present.
My passion is to provide high-quality hairdressing services to make people happy with their hair, especially knowing that not many local hairdressers are highly skilled at perming or chemical straightening around here, I just use my skills and knowledge to handle Japanese products of good quality, although I use European colour products as well to do colours for European hairs. I believe that is how I contribute to this society as an immigrant from the far East in the Northern Hemisphere not wasting years of my experience and making my hairdressing life more worthwhile.
